MiX Executive Program Gives Leaders the Opportunity to Learn from the Aftermarket’s Next Generation
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- The Modern Industry eXpertise (MiX) council of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) continues to grow and focus on its reverse mentoring model. As part of this focus, MiX has launched an Executive Partnership Program.
At each MiX meeting, the council will host an AASA board member or industry executive to lead a roundtable discussion and ask questions of the members. Also as part of the program, a MiX representative will be selected to represent the group on the AASA Board of Governors.
“The goal is to use MiX as an advisory board which represents millennials from aftermarket supplier companies,” explained Ben Brucato, AASA senior director of membership and sponsorship and group executive of MiX. “Executive hosts will benefit by receiving a compilation of all the responses and comments made during their round table.”
The MiX Executive Partnership Program was inspired by an enlightening and productive meeting with Marc Blackman, Gold Eagle chief executive officer and chairman of the AASA Board of Governors, at the group’s meeting prior to the 2019 Vision Conference. He led an hour-long roundtable with the group, discussing the need for more millennials from AASA supplier members to engage and participate in the aftermarket discussion.
The next MiX meeting is set for Thursday, June 27, at Delphi Technologies in Auburn Hills, Mich. For more information, visit the MiX webpages or contact Ben Brucato.
