MEMA Thought Leader to Present to CAR MBS 2019

The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Ann Wilson will be given a presentation on current and emerging trade issues within the automotive industry at the CAR MBS 2019 event in Traverse City, MI, Aug. 5-8.   

CAR MBS is an annual event that features a diverse mix of visionary leaders focused on the future of the global automotive industry. Presentation topics span the automotive industry and include manufacturing, electric vehicles, the mobility ecosystem, and organizational culture. 

Wilson will present “Supplier Industry and Trade” during the session “Impact of Automotive Trade Issues in North America and Beyond,” which takes place on Aug. 7 from 2:45 to 4 pm at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.

During her presentation, Wilson will discuss:

• U.S. Trade Actions Impacting Supplier Companies

• Overview and Current Status of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)

• Section 232 and Section 301 Tariffs Update and Impacts
