MEMA Sponsors DC Auto Show, New MEMA CEO to Address Industry Media
MEMA will once again play a leadership role at the 2019 Washington Auto Show as a sponsor for the event. The Washington Auto Show offers Washingtonians a display of mobility technologies and hundreds of new vehicles and concepts from dozens of domestic and import manufacturers. The public show will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in D.C. April 5-14, 2019.
New MEMA President and CEO Bill Long is scheduled to provide an industry update at the event’s media day, on Thursday, April 4. Media can register to attend the pre-show events, which include a “sneak peek” and access to other events.
Unlike other auto shows around the country, the Washington Auto Show is known as the “public policy show” and convenes leaders in industry and government to tackle the most pressing issues facing the automotive sector over the course of its Public Policy Days, which includes “MobilityTalks International” on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 3 and 4, 2019. MobilityTalks International is a forum designed for governments from around the world to exchange ideas on best practices related to the emerging trends in transportation surrounding connected and autonomous vehicles.
Registration for MobilityTalks International is open. More information about the Washington Auto Show is here: www.washingtonautoshow.com.
