MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Showcased Innovation at Remanufacturing Roadshow & Annual Conference

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – The Remanufacturing Roadshow & Annual Conference was hosted by MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers on June 25-26, 2024. This year’s event marked another successful gathering of industry leaders, innovators, and professionals dedicated to the advancement of remanufacturing. Held in Greenville, S.C., the event featured exclusive facility tours, insightful conference sessions, and valuable networking opportunities.

Attendees had the unique opportunity to tour facilities at Circuit Board Medics, Standard Motor Products, and Bosch Rexroth, gaining firsthand insights into advanced manufacturing processes and technologies utilized by remanufacturers. Both Circuit Board Medics and Standard Motor Products are Manufactured Again Certified facilities. The certification highlights a commitment to quality by meeting the same international quality standards as new manufacturing, as well as environmental stewardship.

The conference sessions, including the highly anticipated "Innovations & Challenges in High Voltage Battery Life Cycle Management" and "Emerging Technologies and a Focus on Circularity: Driving Opportunities for Remanufacturing," provided attendees with the latest industry insights and trends. The addition of the session, "Increasing Demand for Remanufacturing Starts with Understanding Perception and Reality," sparked engaging discussions on marketing strategies and industry perceptions.

Additional highlights of the event include a networking dinner at Fluor Field, where attendees enjoyed an evening of minor league baseball, and an optional tour of the graduate research labs at Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research, where the conference sessions were held.
