Leading Industry Executives to Share Insights into China’s Fast-Growing Aftermarket at the Automotive Aftermarket Summit 2018 During Automechanika Shanghai
The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association and Messe Frankfurt are co-organizing this unique event
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Leading automotive aftermarket executives will share their insights into China’s fast-growing aftermarket sector with suppliers and channel partners at the Automotive Aftermarket Summit 2018, co-organized by the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) and Messe Frankfurt on Thursday, Nov. 29 in Shanghai.
“This year’s Aftermarket Summit will attract some of the top executives in China’s automotive industry – suppliers and channel partners both as speakers and attendees,” said Paul McCarthy, MEMA senior vice president and AASA executive vice president. “Our subject matter experts will address areas in which China’s aftermarket is in some ways ahead of the U.S. aftermarket, such as e-tailing and O2O.”
The Summit agenda includes Cai Yongzhi, chief operating officer of New Carzone participating in a panel discussion of different supply chain platforms and their survival secrets. Jiang Renhai, CEO of Kzmall will be featured on a panel comparing aftermarket channel development in China, the U.S. and Europe.

CAF members, who are executives with top aftermarket suppliers responsible for their company’s China operations, and representatives from Messe Frankfurt created the Summit’s compelling agenda to examine the current trends, challenges and opportunities in the country’s market today.
The day-long event will be held concurrently with Automechanika Shanghai, slated for Wednesday, Nov. 28 through Saturday, Dec. 1 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. An audience of 300-plus attendees is expected, including more than 100 buyers from the Chinese aftermarket.
