Join MEMA for an Important Webinar on Tariff Policies Impacting Suppliers
MEMA urges suppliers to attend our March 27 webinar focused on the recent Section 232 steel and aluminum tariffs and the recently announced exclusions applications process. The webinar will take place Tuesday March 27, 2018 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. ET. To register, please contact Briana Huxley. The webinar is open to all AASA, HDMA, MERA, and OESA members. It is not transferrable to non-members.
Trade counsel from Arent Fox LLP will be on hand to review the process and highlight what suppliers need to know about the complexities of the tariff exclusion application process. Based in Washington, D.C., Dave Hamill and Nancy Noonan have been actively working with MEMA on various trade matters, particularly steel and aluminum tariffs and NAFTA. During the webinar they will review the following:
- An overview of Presidential Proclamations and Product Exclusion Process
- Review key takeaways and what companies need to know before submitting exclusion requests
- Steps companies can take to prepare
The presentation segment will be approximately 30 minutes. The remaining time will be dedicated to Q&A and discussion. We encourage you to submit questions to us in advance of the webinar. Please send them to Leigh Merino by COB Friday, March 23.
