Dr. Parker Hudson, MD, MPH, FACP, Director, Dell Med COVID Testing & Tracing, Will Join AASA’s Global Summit as a Featured Speaker
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – AASA announces Dr. Parker Hudson, M.D., MPH, FACP, assistant professor of internal medicine and infectious diseases at Dell Medical School in Austin, TX, as a speaker at their upcoming AASA Global Summit, presented by the Overseas Automotive Council (OAC). In his session, Dr. Hudson will give a firsthand view on the status of the pandemic and vaccination, both in North America and globally. He will be able to address concerns from business leaders in regard to global travel, statistics and trends, and regions that have seen success with the vaccines. He will then open it up for a Q&A session which will allow attendees to ask specific questions and provide a more interactive experience.
The Global Summit is a way for aftermarket executives to strategize and discuss global business challenges and will specifically focus on global recovery in a post COVID-19 world this year. AASA Global Summit will be hosted virtually in 2021 on February 4-5.

Dr. Hudson completed medical school and combined training in internal medicine and general pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the global health track. Afterward, he completed an adult infectious diseases fellowship and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He then joined the Dell Medical School faculty in 2016. He has helped lead the local and state clinical and public health response to the COVID pandemic as Director of Testing & Tracing at Dell Medical School as well as Chief Medical Advisor on Governor Abbott’s Strike Force to Open Texas.
