AASA’s MAP Virtual Summit Educates the Aftermarket on Minimum Advertised Price
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) will host its MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) Virtual Summit on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. The summit will feature important information to inform a choice about implementation of a MAP pricing strategy.
Summit participants will receive a general overview of Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies, a walkthrough of the legal implications and best practices for the pricing strategy, a deep-dive into several case studies, and a “voice of the customer” segment with answers to many of the present “why or why not” concerns.
“Deciding whether or not to implement a MAP Pricing strategy is a complex decision, and questions often go unanswered with regards to best practices and timing,” said Paul McCarthy, president and chief operating officer for AASA. “This virtual summit will ensure the aftermarket is fully informed before making future pricing strategy decisions.”
AASA recommends that participants visit the AASA MAP Hub before the summit to view videos, presentations and FAQs from previous events to be fully prepared.
