Some people leave a mark — not just on their families and communities but on entire industries.
Joseph M. Magliochetti was such a man.
Known simply as “Joe Mag” to most people, he served as the chairman and CEO Dana Corporation until his death in 2003. Joe was widely recognized as a leader and a visionary in the supplier industry — a man dedicated to serving others. His tenure as MEMA’s chairman left a vibrant legacy of advocacy and outreach on behalf of motor vehicle suppliers.
We could think of no greater way to honor his memory than by continuing it. MEMA’s annual Industry Champion Award recognizes members of the U.S. House of Representatives or the Senate for their diligent work on behalf of U.S. parts manufacturers.
